Privacy Policy
What we collect
- Account: name, email, username, password hash.
- Identity: BVN or NIN reference (stored encrypted, never shown).
- Payment: Flutterwave transaction references (we never see or store your card details).
- Activity: groups you host or join, transactions, disputes.
How we use it
To run the marketplace: verify identity, route payments, release escrow, compute trust scores, send transactional notifications. We do not sell your data.
Security
Account passwords are bcrypt-hashed and never stored in plain text. Lytesub never asks for, transmits, or stores the login credentials of any third-party service — access is granted only through that service's official family/team invites, which go directly to the email you provide.
Third parties
- Flutterwave — payments, bank account resolution, transfers.
- Vercel — hosting and edge delivery.
- (Phase 2) Resend — transactional email. Termii — WhatsApp/SMS.
Your rights
You can export your data, delete your account, or revoke saved card authorisations at any time from your profile. Contact privacy@lytesub.com for any other request.
Cookies
We use a session cookie for sign-in. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies in the current version.
